10 TIPS TO SURVIVE COACHELLA 2018

Heyy loves and happy Monday!

It’s that time of the year when Cali living is in full affect, because it’s Coachella time! Coachella happens every year in Coachella Valley, CA. That’s right, the HOT desert valley. It’s supposed to be up to 95 degrees’ weekend one and 103 degrees’ weekend two. Although it’s such a fun festival it is very important to take care of yourselves while out there. Since I have gone a few times, I thought 10 tips would be beneficially to help you get through the weekend, especially if you’re a Coachella Newbie.

  1. If you’re of age, you’ll be drinking, sometimes excessively. Be sure with every beer you chug or shot your take CHASE it with water! Don’t worry you won’t get clowned for chasing your drinks your protecting yourself.
  2.   The weather change is no joke. In the morning the weather can be up in the hundreds then drop dramatically at night. Since you’ll be out late waiting for the Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Eminem to preform, you’ll need a jacket or a blanket.

  3. Dust masks and scarves will be your best friends. As I said before the weather changes at night, you can literally see all of the dust that is circling the air when you look at the lights.
  4. Stay hydrated! Drink water!
  5.  Sunblock will save your skin, yes all of my BLACK people although you won’t appear burnt, you are. Save your skin.

  6. Plan out your line up! Listen to a few artists you’ve never listened to before and fall in love with new music.
  7. Stay with your group. Coachella is huge and has so many activities and performances at the same time with LIMITED cellphone service. Make sure you practice the buddy system.
  8. Get REST! Each night rest a bit if only for a few hours. Cure that hangover sis!

  9. Take some time to heal your body. When you come home and your back to reality, take a few days off of work relax and repair yourself.
  10. HAVE FUN! Coachella is an experience, live your life like a CALIFORNIAN!
Thank you for subscribing and reading xoxo.
